Week At A Glance From Adrienne Ross, a fifth grade teacher at Demarest Middle School in Demarest, New Jersey: "To keep parents informed of upcoming tests, events and long term projects, we send home a WEEK AT A GLANCE letter each Friday. It helps the parents schedule study time for their children and it helps the team of teachers plan, project and organize so the children do not have more than one or two tests on any particular day. Of course, as teachers, we know things constantly change so on Back to School Night the parents are informed that changes in the schedule may occur and they should still check their child's assignment book."
